Mat Art

I have always been creative, studied Art and Design at college.

Abstract is my thing, when I try to copy real life, it just doesn't look right. I know I need practice. So I have stuck to what I'm comfortable with doing.

 

I paint and experiment with different mediums. Always looking for something creative to do, although I still prefer acrylic. Being into computers I like creating digital art. Digital art doesn't fill the house with canvas, or cost, when the cost of living is so high.

I have had two works on display in a gallery, one digital and one acrylic.

When I got an iPhone that gave me an interesting way to create art. I then joined Instagram and this started as just a way to share pictures. As time went by, I learnt more things and found I could get a different results when using various apps. I enjoy taking part in challenges, it amazes me how one photo can be changed and given so many different looks. The challenge aspect led me to create a group called AppsFun, to set challenges and look at different apps.

I now feel set with knowledge and experience in mobile digital art to try some amazing things, watch out world here I come.
